Craven Community College offers two-year degrees and adult continuing education at its New Bern and Havelock campuses. Two-year associate's degree programs in the arts and sciences and more than 30 technical and vocational programs including medical assistance programs are available. In response to expanding local needs for workers knowledgeable in composites, the newest program area builds on the existing Manufacturing Technology program, adding a special concentration in the development, use and testing of composite materials used in aircraft parts and high-tech machines.
The college offers basic adult education programs, two-year technical and transfer programs, one-year vocational programs and extension programs in occupational, practical and vocational courses of study. Craven Community College is part of North Carolina's 58-campus community college system.
